May is here and spring is in full swing. We are finally seeing days of warm sunshine and bursts of colour from rhododendrons bushes. A recent trip to Exbury Gardens was quite astounding to see so much variety and shades of colour. This month also sees the arrival of new borns including baby swans, cygnets -  and foals as stallions are let out on to the New Forest until mid June, in preparation for next years foals.
